This position reports directly to the HP Consumer New Product Introduction Director in the Consumer Global Business Unit (GBU).

Applies expert subject matter knowledge to manage NPI activities in solving most complex business / technical issues within established policies.
Acts as a key advisor to senior management on the development of overall policies and long-term goals of the NPI organization.
Plans, manages and monitors high-end operational / tactical activities of NPI. Primary focus is on either high-end tactical or broad strategic issues or a combination of both.
Improve efficiencies through process, tools and collaboration.
Based on a strong knowledge of trends in the industry affects the strategy / direction of the New Product Introduction for all product line / line of services or solutions.
Regularly provide product / service / solution recommendations to different executive communities.
Responsible for driving the long-term strategy of the NPI product line / line of services / solutions.
Lead projects that involve cross-functional coordination to provide integrated products / services / solutions.
Is perceived by the sales team to be an expert in the products / services / solutions and regularly is called on to defend the benefits in front of customers or partners.
Often create innovative solutions to enhance sales of the product lines or line of services / solutions.
Manage an integrated NPI (new product introduction) launch process working closely with regional and worldwide marketing teams.
Develop and implement integrated 4P launch plans for consumer notebook and desktop products across all consumer sub-brands working closely with regions and worldwide marketing teams.
Manage partner NPI’s (new product introductions) integration with HP.
Key technology NPI content lead.

10+ years consumer electronics / consumer technology marketing experience

Marketing, marketing communications or marketing operations experience
Region or product management experience is a plus.
