Intel's Worldwide Trade Operations is a global leader in Trade Compliance. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with trade experts in more than 20 countries with in-depth knowledge across all aspects of trade compliance.

Candidates will be able develop global content knowledge by leveraging content experts on country specific requirements and its practical applications.

The Worldwide Trade APJ Operations Manager will have the responsibility for trade compliance in India, Taiwan, Japan, Korea and Singapore as well as support trade related topics in other countries across Asia (excluding China, Malaysia & Vietnam).

The role will include a focus on both Intel's internal operations and Intel's outsource manufacturing operations. The manager will be accountable for FTZ, export and import controls in Asia (Excluding China, Malaysia & Vietnam).

The manager is expected to work closely with team responsible for our operations in China, Malaysia and Vietnam.

The manager has a team of 4-6 trade specialists and will manage country / site specific trade compliance requirements through the team.

The manager is responsible for the day-to-day activities and guidance of the team, sets targets, implement guidelines, and assist with any issues the team may have.

The manager ensures that all members understand the team's objectives and work together to achieve it. To maximize results, the Manager is tasked with determining the structure, make and development needs of the team.

In this role the Manager will accomplish the following :

Develop a multi-year road map and strategy for the region, with a focus on the team

Develop a pipeline for the sites and the manager

Lead regional & global initiatives relevant to the team

Develop and monitor appropriate metrics for FTZ, import and export compliance for the region

Prioritize and manage activities & risk in the region for FTZ, import and export compliance

Drive results through partnership with other key stakeholders in Intel

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree required

7+ years of relevant experience in trade compliance. Regional experience (particularly in India, Korea, Taiwan & Singapore) on Customs and export control is a plus.

2+ years of people manager experience. Experience in building and growing teams is a plus

Ability to effectively manage people remotely in a highly dynamic, sometimes ambiguous environment

Attention to details, strong analytical and problem solving skill

Able to effectively communicate at different levels

Ability to formulate and drive compliant solutions in a rapidly evolving environment.
