The FTSE Fixed Income Index business offers a range of industry-leading indexes and the flexibility to create custom indexes.
These indexes may be licensed for use as underlying index for OTC or exchange-traded products, including ETFs and structured products.
There is an estimated US$3.5 Trillion benchmarked to the FTSE global family of fixed income indexes which includes the widely adopted FTSE World Government Bond Index (WGBI).

Our Graduate Programme is designed to provide the ideal springboard for a rewarding and challenging career in global financial markets.
As a graduate, you will be given real responsibility straight away, as well as receiving relevant training and development as part of a continuous development programme, this also could include study towards a professional qualification.
As part of the programme you will undertake two six-month rotations in different areas of our business. This not only means more variety, but also a chance to gain a clearer understanding of LSEG and to broaden your commercial awareness and skillset.
Following the initial 12 month programme you will begin a permanent role aligned with your interests, skillset and needs of the business.
This programme provides an excellent opportunity to gain a broad perspective on the various fixed income products including government and agency securities, corporate high grade, high yield and emerging market securities, mortgage and asset-
backed securities, preferred stock, futures, and derivatives products.
What we are looking for from you :
You should have a demonstrable interest in pursuing a career in financial technology with a strong academic record in a quantitative degree discipline such as Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Finance or Financial Engineering.
Knowledge of the fixed income market and bond math alongside technical skills such as VBA, C or Java would be beneficial.
We are interested in recruiting people who understand the full breadth of our business, how it fits together, how it functions and are interested in its development as it grows and diversifies.
To be successful on the programme, you will need to be a talented and highly motivated individual who shares our values and passion for success and growth.
To adapt to changing demands, you’ll need strong intellectual capability, a fluid communication style, plus the gravitas to establish good working relationships and influence key stakeholders.
It is also important for you to be driven and resilient to see projects through to successful completion. You will stand out to us if you can demonstrate and recognise that what you achieve is equally important to how you achieve it.
