Summary :

  • Our Inside Sales Representative is responsible for the sales of research products and services primarily by using the telephone;
  • but also using email, Internet, and other technology within a defined territory. The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for serving customers engaged in Biotechnology Company and one-

    time dealer. The Inside Sales Representative maintains effective customer relations, develops opportunities for growth within an existing customer base, and assures market penetration and profitability while achieving sales and profit forecasts.

    Responsibilities :

  • Develop and execute sales strategies and plans to expand business within assigned territory; maintain a pipeline of opportunities to meet or exceed sales objectives.
  • Achieve sales objectives by providing support to the field sales team through :
  • o Promoting products and solutions to customers over the phone

    o Following up with customers on marketing promotions & campaigns

    o Managing and growing a set of customer accounts through phone selling

  • Improve quote-to-order conversion rates and collaborate with Country Commercial Manager to drive sales opportunities
  • Coordination of cross division opportunities to drive greater revenue synergies
  • Maintain and develop relationship with customers
  • Use CRM database as a tool to aid in sales activities
  • Work closely with sales and marketing teams to suggest and develop marketing strategies through information gathering and market knowledge
  • Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Life Science or Biotechnology
  • 1-3 years of experience in lab, sales, sales support or customer service in the science industry preferred
  • Chinese is fluent, The writing and speaking ability of English is medium better proficient
  • Excellent communication skills required
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively
  • Efficient time management skills with the ability to stay focused on primary business objectives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • To be able to work well with teams
  • Proactive attitude and willing to learn
  • Must be willing to travel to customer locations, if needed.
