Looking for a diligent and detail-oriented quality engineer with sound knowledge of global environmental, health, safety (EHS) specs like Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Responsible Business Alliance (RBA), ISO, Conflict Minerals and experience with quality documentation and ISO.
Responsible for Environmental, Health, Safety (EHS) Compliance reporting and declarations for all Synaptics products
Review customer requests for EHS, CSR, RBA, Conflict Minerals and co-work with GWR, Legal, HR and Corporate EHS teams to complete assessments and product approvals
Review the latest legislative requirements and implement in downstream subcontractors
Support the customer environmental compliance audits in Synaptics and subcontractors and follow up the findings until closure
Support the supplier qualification to review the environmental and CSR compliance
Product Safety compliance and resolution of audit findings at CM (i.e. TSMT, HANA)
Review customer Social responsibility (SER) and Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) requirements, audit findings and drive resolution in timely manner
Conduct ISO internal audits periodically.
Co-work with Legal for Conflict Minerals due diligence SEC reporting and drive towards % RMI smelter conformance with our suppliers
Provide online data or customer templates for reporting to customers
University graduate of Chemistry, Environmental science or related experience with other degree
Sound knowledge of RoHS, REACH, China RoHS & VOC, RBA, RMI Conflict Minerals, Product Safety Compliance (UL, TUV, CSA)
Good command of English and Mandarin.
Team player and the ability to work independently
5+ years related experience.
