We have an opening for a Business Development Executive who wants to gain valuable experience and exposure at a rapidly scaling telco startup in Singapore.

Our Business Development Executive is involved across all stages of the execution of successful partnerships with top-tier companies-

from identifying the right partners, proposing exciting partnership angles, negotiating mutually beneficial terms and executing with a strong focus on analytics and user experience.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to develop their skills in sales and business development. The successful candidate can expect to be a key resource in developing partnerships between Circles.

As a key member of the Partnerships team, your responsibilities include :

  • Business development : Creating and managing a pipeline of potential partners; must be articulate when reaching out via phone, face to face or email;
  • must be able to handle complex negotiations and drive deal closure.

  • Account management : Ensuring a smooth on-boarding experience for partners with a focus on addressing and predicting their concerns.
  • Taking ownership for timely resolution of partners’ queries and needs is a critical component for this role.

  • Reporting and following up : Presenting analysis and ideas in a clear, concise manner and executing follow ups like a hawk.
  • Analytics : Must be able to align and agree with partners on campaign analytics. Must be able to extract meaningful insights by analyzing campaign data;
  • specifically optimizing for choice of channels, target segment, and user journey.

  • Working alongside and learn from top level management and be responsible for daily and weekly KPIs (key performance indicators) for campaigns.

  • Requirements :

  • Excellent communication skills (in person, over the phone, over email and face to face presentations).
  • Passion about technology, start-up and disruptive business model.
  • Strong sense of pride and ownership towards the job.
  • Strong, assertive and empathetic personality.
  • Tech savvy- must be willing and able to understand and learn internal software.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Good to have (but not mandatory) :
  • Bilingual- Ability to communicate in mandarin.
  • A bachelor's degree from top tier university.
  • Sales / BD background in the technology, IT, ecommerce, Insurance, Banking industry.
