Primary Function of Position : The Sales Strategy Analyst works closely with Sales Strategy Team to perform detailed analyses for the commercial organization and provides strategic guidance to senior executives.
This position is heavily involved in data analytics, strategic planning and monitor implementation progress. There is significant interaction with commercial executives as well as cross-
functional work across our international teams in commercial finance, training, and marketing. This is a highly analytical role involving the manipulation of large data sets to gain business insights and provide input for strategic decisions.
Roles and Responsibilities : Serve as a business consultant for local commercial leadershipParticipate in cross functional-
teams, brining data to diagnose and improve operational issues. Use analytical skills to verify or dispel anecdotal insightsDevelop, articulate, and diplomatically defend analytical positionsProvide detailed and actionable analysis to the sales organization that drives measurable performance improvementProvide early insights regarding market trends and the resultant strategic / business model impactSupport sales territory design, quota setting and customer targetingUtilize SQL, EDW, Tableau to query CRM, customer service, and contracting databasesExposure to executive leadership to present his / her result from analysisQualificationsSkill / Job Requirements : Bachelor’s degree (Master’s degree preferred)Three years of relevant work experience, data-
mining experience preferredExpert level SQL / EDW and Tableau preferredKnowledge of CRM systems (e.g. Sales Force) and Hyperion preferredFluent in both Mandarin & English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to concisely explain analyses to executive leadershipDesire and passion to work in a dynamic, fast-
