The Intermediary Business promotes and sells investment products through non-affiliated intermediaries (for example securities firms, banks, insurance companies) who, in turn, recommend and sell these products to individual investors.
Job Contents : 1. Build and deepen strong business partnerships with assigned intermediaries (mainly in the retail platform like retail banks, insurance companies and securities firms) and construct a long term business plan2.
Proactively communicate with all levels of clients (including senior managers, gatekeepers, financial advisors, relationship managers) from various intermediaries and explore sales and other promotional activities3.
Maintain the highest standards in business ethics and comply with internal and external guidelines / policies4. Proactively to understand and analyze industry development and translate into business opportunity5.
Prepare business reports and handle business agreement related issues6. Work effectively with different internal parties and able to present on the team’s behalf7.
Lead a channel team to achieve overall business objectives, i.e., sales targets and other KPI.8. Continue to develop team members through provide timely feedback and on-
going coachingQualifications : 1. University graduate in Business, Finance and / or related discipline with a minimum of 10 years of experience in financial industry.
2. Experienced team leadership to motivate and lead the team to delivery business result3. Professional qualifications such as CFA, CFP would be an advantage4.
Strive for excellence; able to work under strong pressure5. Positive mindset and excellent communication skills for both internal and external stakeholders6.
Analytical with strong market knowledge and network within the fund industry7. Fluent in both English and Chinese writing and speaking8.
Obtain local regulatory license, i.e. SITCA Sales, or Senior Security Sales
