Custom Silicon Global Supply Chain Managers (GSMs) work with both external and internal cross-functional teams on strategic custom silicon programs from supplier selection to production, ensuring a robust yet competitive supply chain for our products.
You will use your wide industry knowledge and strategic supplier relationships to optimize the total cost of ownership for our products while influencing suppliers’ roadmap to Google's technology and business needs.
You'll be responsible for the supply security of our custom silicon products and play a key part of an end-to-end supply chain team that drives continuous improvement and ensures operational excellence in support of Google's rapid growth.

Participate with Mountain View GSMs to manage short-term and develop long-term sourcing strategies and customer-supplier relationships with OSAT / Subcon Assembly partners.
Drive supplier selection technology roadmap and business engagements, including pricing, business models, capacity, yield and related supplier management aspects with Silicon Foundry and OSAT / Subcon Assembly partners.
Maintain an insightful comprehension of the evolving semiconductor industry and high level executive network with suppliers.
Be responsible for both strategic and tactical supply demand management related topics on custom silicon programs, such as supply demand planning, order fulfillment, forecasting, capacity planning buffer, and safety stock planning.
Be the main contact point between internal stakeholders (engineering, finance, operations) and external suppliers for all custom silicon supply demand management related topics.
Supply ownership of assigned commodities and supplier relationships. Co-drive Supplier Business Review.
Minimum qualifications :
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience managing outsourced Silicon foundries and OSATs on outsourced operation and production matters, including supply-demand planning (starts, delivery fulfillment, planning, and forecasting from NPI to Mass Production / EOL).
Experience with Silicon Foundry and OSAT processes. Customer-supplier management experience in Silicon Foundry and OSAT.
Preferred qualifications :
Post Graduate's degree in Industrial Engineering or related engineering field, with MBA.
12 years of experience in process integration / engineering, customer-supplier management in ASIC houses and Silicon Foundry.
Experience managing complex supply demand optimization.
Excellent understanding in semiconductor topics (technical, operations and commercial) and its macro-market landscape.
Ability to operate independently under a matrix organization. Ambidextrous character with ability to drive results using data while operating under ambiguity.
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills. High level of personal and professional integrity. Team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
