PRIMARY PURPOSE :
To increase revenue, market share and to manage profitability within the assigned core accounts.
Responsible for preparing and / or implementing financial and non-financial plans in support of reaching account objectives.
Develop & maintain strategic relationships to increase penetration and share position within the assigned account(s).
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
1.Manages strategic and tactical activities within assigned accounts. Identifies and addresses with management gaps and overlaps in resources and / or issues to support accounts per account plan
2.Identify the Total Available Market (TAM), Serviceable Available Market (SAM), Molex Share, Competition, and the CAGR
3.Analyze the gap in TAM / SAM / Share within the assigned accounts. Understand the accounts and competition landscape e.
g. competitive strengths, weaknesses, etc. Develop account penetration / growth strategy and plan
and develop a clear roadmap (1-3 years down the road)
5.Identify new product opportunities. Work with product divisions to develop new product concepts / proposals
6.Builds a strong relationship within account to achieve customer fellowship and operational excellence
7.Drive the design activities and grow CRM pipeline and revenue. Resolve and escalate if necessary any issues identified as bottlenecks
8.Execute the account business plan including the CRM pipeline activities
9.Prepare operational reports to track and communicate status of goals (e.g. forecasting, new identifying business opportunities, and implementing program status)
10.Maintain expert knowledge about account(s) key financial metrics that affects their market position
11.Serve as the industry expert and communicate the products and applications and opportunities with management and product divisions.
Identify new future products and supports / sponsors the development of these new products across accounts.
12.Understand / communicate and potentially conducts research to analyze competitive position, market trends, and technological direction at the account(s).
Keeps the organization informed of trends, opportunities, and needs on the accounts.
13.Technical supports Molex distributors to digging opportunities and solve design / application / operation issues.
14.Manages good control of expense budgets with appropriate planning of meetings / travel.
15.Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
16.Travel to customers as needed.
