POSITION SUMMARY

The HR Business Partner, APAC is the first point of contact for all staff within the Asia Pacific region at EO. This role will work remotely within the region, in partnership with key business leaders, to deliver excellent HR services in the full employee life cycle including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compensation & benefits administration, and the implementation of global learning and development initiatives.

As a member of the global HR team, the incumbent will be responsible for collaborating with other regional HR Business Partners to ensure accurate and consistent HR delivery for all EO staff.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Acts as the face of HR for the Asia Pacific region.
  • Proactively coaches employees and managers to address performance issues, and collaboratively develop improvement plans where necessary.
  • Ensures consistent implementation within the region of all policies and procedures along with ongoing updates for compliance.
  • Provides day-to-day advice to line managers on all human resource issues including, but not limited to, management of staff, remuneration, etc.
  • Ensures all job descriptions are kept up to date, completed within the global template, and include local country hiring requirements.
  • Collaborates with the other members of the HR team to conduct annual Training Needs Analysis (TNA) and provide recommendations on learning and development initiatives and programs.
  • Continually evaluate existing HR processes, programs, and initiatives to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Performs other duties as necessary
  • QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED

  • Bachelor's degree in any field, degree within Human Resources or Human Resources Management preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years HR generalist experience within the ASIA region; preferably working in multiple countries or cross borders.
  • Ability to formulate and deliver recommendations to effectively resolve problems or issues by using organization's standards, practices, policies, and / or procedures.
  • Exercises confidentiality and discretion.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be detail oriented and highly accountable.
  • Approachable and confident to interact with leaders and employees at all levels.
  • Must be able to effectively handle multiple tasks, manage projects, and meet deadlines.
  • Must be self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Uses good judgment and strong interpersonal communication skills.
  • Demonstrates analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Comprehensive experience using the full Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and various HRIS and ATS platforms.
