Google's projects, like our users, span the globe and require managers to keep the big picture in focus. As a Program Manager at Google, you lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects.

You plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating goals to project stakeholders.

Your projects often span offices, time zones and hemispheres, and it's your job to keep all the players coordinated on the project's progress and deadlines.

As an Inventory Program Manager, you will assist in driving the hardware business forward. You will apply analytical methods and problem solving skills to develop, manage, and optimize inventory for the Logistics and Fulfillment team across multiple global warehouse and distribution centers globally.

You should have a track record of thriving in ambiguous environments, working with cross-functional teams to gain buy-off, and executing cross-functionally to turn ideas into reality.

You'll also be able of, and demonstrate in, working in an environment where you create and analyze your own data, articulating key findings to team members and leadership.

Your data backed analysis will help steer the organization's direction and help scale the function.

  • Drive in-transit, ASN, and CM / ODM support to ensure inventory accuracy, proper PO receipts, and invoicing.
  • Manage finished goods and component supply chain, from source suppliers to third-party logistics (3PL) and contract manufacturers, and drive process efficiencies.
  • Manage key reporting and systems needs across warehouse and 3PLs, including EDI and system integration for inventory optimization.
  • Identify, measure, and track key inventory metrics to drive efficiency across global network.
  • Work to reconcile inventory discrepancies in global warehouses and ensure accurate matches with internal systems.
  • Minimum qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience working in inventory or relevant industry.
  • Experience working in a collaborative, cross-functional, and data-driven environment.
  • Preferred qualifications :

  • MBA, Master's degree or PhD in Engineering, Operations Research, or similar.
  • 5 years of work experience in supply chain operations / manufacturing / program management.
  • Experience with SQL and the use of data-warehouse tables and operational data, to write / modify SQL queries.
  • Experience with business intelligence reporting and dashboarding tools, from both a report-design and hands-on delivery / refinement perspectives.
  • Ability to successfully work across multiple levels of an organization.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
