Job Summary :

Develop and implement strategic medical affairs and clinical plans / projects to enhance and forward the understanding of the medical value of RD solutions across BAs.

Cultivate and maintain relationships with academic researchers and healthcare professionals and Acts as an expert, major source and channel of medical information with regard to medical education, scientific communication and evidence generation.

Organize local medical meetings and support global / regional medical congress participation to enhance clinical knowledge of our high medical value products to KOLs.

Engage in clinical training programs, and support sales force and other stakeholders through provision regular and up-to-

date clinical training.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities :

Review and approve customer communication materials containing medical / scientific contents where materials may cover non-

branded, or pipeline product information of locally approved products Develop medical tactics and strategies and provide medical insights and inputs regarding unmet need and gap in clinical practice to assist the development of medical strategy and commercial strategy.

Plan and execute medical initiatives projects. Develop, present and provide medical / scientific or technical contents related to products in responsible disease areas, including medical value, clinical utility, evidence update, and specific pipeline product information in Symposium / Medical Congress / Conference / hospital CME Identify and interact with clinician KOLs for medical purpose and build a strong scientific rapport with KOLs.

Develop KOL engagement strategy and implement the engagement programs. Respond to customers or potential customers questions about medical / scientific uses of approved products Author and disseminate Non-

promotional White Papers containing On-Label information (e.g., analytical and clinical analyses)

Identify evidence gap and plan / execute Roche-Sponsored pre- and post-approval clinical studies, overseeing and tracking of Roche supported IIS, all studies for publications under Medical Affairs.

Education :

PHD in Bio-medical or other life science disciplines is preferred.

Experience :

Minimum of 5 years related experience in Clinical / Pharmaceutical and / or diagnostics oriented market.

Specific Knowledge & Skills :

Fluency in both oral and written English and Mandarin is a must. Good knowledge of local regulations, research process, GCPs governing the conduct of clinical trails.

Capable to learn, interpret and provide scientific information and data in relation to the assigned disease / therapeutic area Experience in working with senior business leaders, clinicians, and regulatory authorities Strong communication, interpersonal, negotiation, presentation, lecture, and project / time management skills Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office Products Business Knowledge : Understand the business of RD Taiwan our science, goals, core business processes and structure, financials, our market and suppliers High degree of business ethics Self-

motivated and able to work independently
