Product Quality Engineer

Job Description

  • Ensures rapid, satisfying response to all customer requests pertaining to commercial products and 3rd party products originating in APR.
  • Manages and communicates all product quality and Owns and communicates process change to customers. This comprises decisions about levels of notification, determination of success criteria, and approval of white papers.
  • Characterizes and drives improvement in products and services through systematic review of customer complaints and requests
  • Communicate with field service engineers and other sales staff on technical aspects of products and issue resolution
  • Maintains consistent customer response standards and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Interface internal / external customers to identify the specific purpose and technical requirements of each individual analysis requests
  • Interpret the analysis data and generate customer reports
  • Collaborate with account teams and work with customer quality team to account specific quality requirement.
  • Job Qualification

  • Minimum 3-5 years customer interface experience
  • Minimum of M.S. in Chemistry, Chem E, Mech E, Materials Science / Engr or related engineering degree
  • Understanding of semiconductor fabrication; CMP process knowledge is desirable
  • Desirable global experience with strong interpersonal skills
  • Data analysis and technical reporting with 6sigma concept
  • Good communication / interpersonal skills
  • English and Chinese language skills
  • Experiences in analytical methods / equipment
  • Quality management skills, such as 8D methodology
