Corning’s Display Technologies segment manufactures glass substrates for active matrix liquid crystal displays ( LCDs ) that are used primarily in LCD televisions, notebook computers and flat panel desktop monitors.
Develops and implements environmental programs in accordance with governmental requirements.
Environmental system declaration(air / waste water / waste management / chemical )
Monitors environmental pollution prevention activities, compliance and auditing.
Communicate and work with Corp. SHE and local colleagues on programs implementation or project support.
Ensure facility operations and procedures are in accordance with applicable laws and Corp. standard.
Oversight the working area and deliver environmental inspection report.
Work in compliance with ISO 45001 / ISO14001 standards and practices.
Host or participate regional environmental meeting (need use English)
Identify and control potential hazards by risk assessment and management of change (MOC).
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety and health, environment engineering or regarding to EHS.
Proficient in local environmental management, workplace environmental regulation.
Environ. related license (at least have one kind of environ. license, air, wastewater or waste treatment).
