Responsibilities : 1. Supplier Management

1. Supplier Management

  • Maintains and improves system for selecting, qualifying and managing subcontractors. Facilitates qualification according to global plan and documented procedure.
  • Ensures proper deployment and implementation of process changes. Provide approval of engineering notices in agile system.
  • Deploys requirements to suppliers and affected departments.

  • Disposition nonconforming materials and provide risk assessment through MPE system (daily / as needed) and validate effectiveness of actions
  • Work closely with External Manufacturing to resolve subcon issues
  • Weekly review of KPI established with subcons
  • 2. Supplier Performance Rating and Monitoring

  • Consolidates indices and generates quality report cards. Monitors supplier performance to drive quality, and service excellence. (quarterly)
  • Monitors subcon performance by collating and reviewing evaluation surveys, SPC reports, Reliability reports, EFAR trend / cycle , etc. (monthly)
  • Monitor incoming quality at subcon IQA / OQA and drive for improvement upstream
  • Drive SQIN / EFAR / IFAR and close loop with subcon / internal factory
  • Maintains and improves the supplier rating system (SRS) for subcons
  • 3. Quality Auditing / Assessment (MEA / CAMS3)

  • Conducts assessments to determine compliance to requirements, adequacy, suitability and effectiveness of the QMS, and identify areas for improvement
  • Releases audit notifications, conducts audit and generates report for internal as well as external audits (as scheduled)
  • Update CAMS3 system with audit result (after each audit)
  • Champions the effective conduct of product audit
  • Defines procedure as needed
  • Executes audit per plan
  • Identifies common product issues and drives process improvement
  • 4. CAR Management

  • Facilitates issuance of SQIN / EFAR / IFAR to address problems promptly and effectively
  • Presides over meetings (as needed)
  • Investigates and verifies issue
  • Monitors responsiveness to SQIN / IFAR / EFAR
  • Monitor and verify closure of issues
  • Validate CAPA effectiveness
  • 5. Continuous Improvement

  • Leads and / or participates in continuous improvement projects such as Six Sigma, TPM, benchmarking, etc., to eliminate losses, improve quality of products or simplify a process
  • Conducts trainings to promote quality awareness or use of quality tools (as needed)
  • Organizes and / or participates in undertakings which aim to promote quality consciousness (as needed)
  • Participates in the resolution of customer and internal quality issues to address internal and external customer concerns
  • Requirements :

  • Minimum 5 years of supplier quality experience in quality organization or related field
  • Experience on WLCSP is mandatory.
  • Experience in Wafer and / or Assembly Engineering or Quality Management.
  • Familiarity with quality system including ISO9001, ISO / TS / IATF16949, FMEA, Control Plan, Process Capability study, MSA, GR&R
  • Trained and certified with ISO9001, ISO / TS / IATF16949, VDA 6.3 will be advantageous
  • Trained on 8D problem solving methodology
  • Strong technical capabilities to understand technical issues in quality including production fails and visual defects.
  • Familiarity with electrical and physical failure analysis methodology and RMA process; hands on experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong leadership presence; Self-motivated, Self-managed
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Flexibility in schedule evening working hours required to interface with customers and international sites
  • Domestic and international travel required 20% average
