KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
Drive proof of concept engagement, hands on work with ODM / OEM partners to enable successful deployment of AMD server platforms during product evaluations and post sales customer engagement
Work with ODM / OEM partners on server-based solutions which better map to AMD GPU Computing solutions
Debug Critical Platform Hardware, Driver and Firmware Issues
Develop technical and training presentation
Develop design guidelines and recommendation to improve customer experience with our SW and HW.
Manage interaction with partners, customers and open source community
Create Whitepapers on technology, products and solutions
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE :
8+ years of H / W development experience in server company.
Experience in working directly with local ODM partner or key ODM / OEM customers and enabling them to production
Proven record in large scale data center engineering and / or cloud scales engineer engineering
Strong technical skills with extensive hands-on experiences in performing HW and Signal Integrity analysis, performance optimization, and system architecture
Familiarity with AMD CPU & GPU platform including high speed IO (PCIe, xGMI), DC-DC VR design
Strong knowledge in the following fields : PC / Server architecture, x86 processors, DDR, PCIE, SATA, USB, multiprocessor systems, power management and system management
Understanding of Linux, Windows Sever (a plus) System internals and server system architecture
Familiarity with various deployment models including cloud, virtualization and containers
Automation, Orchestration, Delivery via one or all solutions : Kubernetes, Docker, Mesos
Strong System Level Debugging Skills
Solid knowledge of Shell / BASH, C / C++, and Python and other framework is a plus.
Knowledge of OpenCL and or CUDA GPU Computing Languages (AMD own language ROCm driver is a plus).
Plus is Solid knowledge of software fundamentals with a plus in Deep Learning, High Performance Computing or GPU Server Based computing
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS :
BS or MS in IT or Electronic Engineering (or relative engineering fields)
