Design variety types of antenna including horn, sector, mmwave array, patch array
antenna and LTE, 5G antenna.
Mainly focus on conducting antenna designs and passive antenna measurement and active OTA tests for indoor, outdoor and consumer products.
Work closely with a cross-functional team including electric engineering, RF engineering, Mechanical Engineering, CAD Designers to define antenna requirements and Manufacturing to ensure efficient manufacturing of hardware.
Define antenna concepts and requirements during initial product ID stage.
Develop tools for antenna performance measurement and analysis in a fixed and array systems
Build and test antenna prototypes with front-end circuits and mechanics.
Masters or PHD of Science Degree in an engineering discipline with emphasis in RF / Microwave technical measurement.
Must have experience performing analysis on antenna performance and also have desense troubleshooting experience.
Must be familiar with radio related test equipment such as network analyzers, and OTA chamber. better understanding auto testing scripts for RF testing items.
Must have experience characterizing radio performance in ISM band freq, and ultra high freq antenna.
Must have experience on doing HFSS simulation tools.
Knowledge of practical RF system considerations such as path loss calculation, cascade noise figure, and intercept point is desirable.
Design experience with WLAN, or microwave or mmWave phased array antennas or horn or LTE antenna.
Architect, design, prototype, and validate Antenna subsystems for multi radio products ( WiFi, BT, Zigbee, etc).
