The Role : The foreman’s scope will be called upon to assist with leading the accurate diagnosis and resolving of complex technical issues as advised by their direct line manager.

A strong technical background in diagnosing complex electromechanical systems with heavy software content and deployed in safety-

critical applications is required. A TESLA foreman must be passionate about diagnostics, must be a strong critical thinker with fluent understanding of technical system-

level architecture and issues. This role involves the highly sufficient use of the latest and advanced diagnostic equipment to detect and diagnose a wide range of different faults and lead all technicians within the workshop with a positive 'can do' attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.

In order to successfully carry out the duties of this role, continuous self-development in all diagnostic equipment and systems is expected.

All work flow within the service centre is completed in the set manufacturer time scales and to the highest quality as we seek to achieve consistently high customer satisfaction, promote first time fix and high quality repairs.

In addition to the technical skills demonstrated, all TESLA foreman must also display competency in performance areas such as project and people management.

This role also has responsibility for workshop flow and cycle times along with maintaining all levels engaged by supporting future development via coaching and mentoring.

Responsibilities : Performs foreman work in the inspection, repair, and service of Tesla electric vehicles.Provide diagnostic support for respective service center and improve diagnostic / repair proceduresLead, Coach and Support technicians within the service center with all troubleshooting techniques and remote diagnosis via the service center Toolbox escalation process.

Lead, Coach and Support technicians with their own development by knowledge sharing and guiding best practice.Perform diagnostic duties within service center to ensure technician repair downtime is a minimumLiaise with front of house staff and customers with any long term vehicle concerns and ensure that all work is carried out in full and followed up until resolvedSupport the Pre-

Diagnostic / repair processReport trending / new / critical Faults / Concerns / Issues from the service center by providing high level diagnostic data.

To be fully conversant with all manufacturer technical literature and information bulletins and ensure that this information is passed out and fully understood.

Identify training and diagnostic development needs within the workshop teamRequirements : Ability to maintain a high technical skill level and full awareness of all the latest technology used in the vehicle range.

Proven ability to work and communicate effectively with team and peers within the Service organization.Established ability to be self-

directed and work independently, with strong organization and documentation skills.Exceptional capacity for managing simultaneous activities and challenges.

Strong analytical problem solving skills and hands-on experience with hardware, tools, instruments, CAN logging database software or similar protocol analysis.

Experience with complex automotive / electromechanical systems, preferably electric vehicles or high voltage DC systems such as DC storage or DC-

DC converters.Able to read and interpret mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as the ability to follow instructions required.

Fluent English language skill is preferable. The ability to lead, guide and coach fellow Technicians to achieve highest quality of work in the most efficient manner possible.

Registered Technician Certificate if applicable.
