The Google Pixel team focuses on designing and delivering the world's most helpful mobile experience. The team works on shaping the future of Pixel devices and services through some of the most advanced designs, techniques, products, and experiences in consumer electronics.
This includes bringing together the best of Google’s artificial intelligence, software, and hardware to build global smartphones and create transformative experiences for users across the world.
Minimum qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, a relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience coding in C / C++.
Preferred qualifications :
1 year of experience working on camera areas or devices.
Experience in software development for mobile phones, tablets, devices, or embedded systems.
Experience with Unix / Linux platform, camera hardware abstraction layer (HAL) infrastructure, and device drivers.
Work with camera system software development and debugging on devices. Collaborate with hardware teams on camera module bring-up.
Develop camera system software to interact with hardware components and the image processor.
Develop and deliver camera features by collaborating across different teams.
Work on camera software stacks (e.g., camera framework, camera HAL, low-level driver control, etc.).
Optimize the memory, performance, and power on devices.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, a relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience coding in C / C++.
