In-Class performance.This includes overseeing activities related to new technologystart-up, transfer and the technical support in collaboration withother departments and partners to achieve benchmark performances inSafety, TTMCY, CT and Cost.
Your responsibilities also includeestablishing the Equipment Strategy / MTEP, managing new tech-nodeequipment install / release and MOR-POR GapClosures.
As Department Leader, you will alsopartake in the selection, development and sustainability of a highvalue workforce, as well as technical and leadership development.
also responsible for working with Technology Development, OperationCentral Teams and Network Business Partners to ensure standards arecreated that meet the needs of the Fab and that these standards areimplemented within the Fabeffectively.
Responsibilities andTasks :
Drive forefficiency in all work processes
Identifymanage and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for thedepartment
Establish a proactive qualitycontrol culture within the department (SPC / FDC,etc.)
Ensure effective change management ismaintained (SWR, GCP, GeRM, etc.)
Formulate anddrive fixes for main yield issues across allproducts
Drive process simplification projectsand support RPT reductions to maximize Fab efficiency andcosts
Promote and model the use of systematicthinking processes
Manage new tool purchasesand qualifications with planning, production and processengineering
Manage new process / productqualification and integration with TD, production and processengineering
Provide feedback to TD on processimprovements being made at site to help enable a more efficienttransfer on the next node
Coordinate withCentral Teams to support global initiative, Copy Smart initiativeand others asneeded
Communicatedepartment goals and areas of focus within your sphere ofinfluence
Provide department updates to reviewprogress and future goals andobjectives
Maintain ongoing dialogue withglobal counterparts
Communicate customerexpectations to the organization
Manage thepeople side ofchange
Create anenvironment of motivation to foster team members engagement to thefullest of their potential

Exercise duediligence to prevent and detect safety and environmental hazardsand violations
Demonstrate support for EHSprograms to reinforce a positive culture for EHSactivities
Demonstrate support for theexecution of the EHS management systems throughout theorganization
Ensure required EHS training iscompleted
Provide team members the resourcesnecessary to fulfill their EHSresponsibilities
Clearly communicateexpectations and enforce safety and environmentalpolicies
Promptly implement preventative andcorrective actions when gaps in expectations areidentified
Communicate problems or concerns tothe appropriate individualimmediately
Bachelor’sDegree or equivalent experience
At least 5years’ experience as DIFF / IRmanager
Demonstratedsuccess in an Micron Manager position
Thoroughknowledge of the PEE team structure, standards andprocesses
Demonstrated success in leading teamsin defining and solving processproblems
Advanced and thorough understanding ofthe DRAM process
Excellent communication andpresentation skills, both verbal andwritten
Strong data analysis, problem solvingand troubleshooting skills
The ability totravel to remote sites for extended periods of time for training,information sharing, and implementation of systems to support thecompany goals isrequired
