The global HR organization includes HR business partners, learning and development, talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, employee communications, and HR system operations.

Summary / Objective

The HR Specialist, Total Rewards is responsible for defining and procuring competitive rewards packages and supporting the HR team in communicating and utilizing these plans for the retention and motivation of employees.

Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Regularly review and recommend updates to compensation and benefits packages to maintain a competitive position for key talent.
  • Develop and deploy marketing and communication materials for rewards packages, especially benefits, to enhance the employment brand in partnership with outside vendors.
  • Regularly Provide Cost / Value Analysis of rewards packages in relation to budget and relevant external and internal benchmarks.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of external providers of rewards such as group insurance carriers, retirement plan administration
  • Uses HR and business data to complete analysis and prepare reports and correspondence in support of HR projects, initiatives and programs.
  • Operates as a Super User for key HR databases including HRIS.
  • Offers insight and observations for process and reporting improvements.
  • Ability to interact effectively with internal and external parties at all levels of the organization and to be highly collaborative and drive partnership and alignment across all HR areas and the business.
  • Conducts regular checks (through reports) on an ongoing basis ensuring
  • employees' pay and benefits are in line with the rewards policies and government insurance / benefits programs
  • Advises managers and employees on the interpretation of Reward Policies, Procedures and benefits programs.
  • Coordinates with the business units for determining bonus / incentive eligibility for new roles and presents the data with recommendation to the line manager for approval.
  • Talent development / Learning function in conducting Performance Management Program
  • Works closely with HQ compensation team in analyzing survey results and comparing employees' pay positioning against market and peer Group.
  • Performs Job Analysis to develop and update Job Descriptions
  • Maintains a job title catalogue and appropriately archives updated job descriptions on local flow system
  • Conduct job evaluation and recommend appropriate grade level and salary range
  • Coordinate with organization development team for timely completion of Annual appraisal and assist where required.
  • Prepare overall Appraisal summary in order to get formal approval by senior management.
  • Keep track of the organization changes and update the Divisions / Business organizational chart accordingly.
  • Preferred Qualifications

    Competencies and Qualification

  • Financial Acumen-Understands the nature of compensation and its relation to total cost (including tax implications, benefits cost, etc.
  • and can provide meaningful analysis related to budget and external benchmarks.

  • HR Knowledge-Understands general HR policies and practices, with significant focus on compliance and best practices in the area of total rewards.
  • Handles highly sensitive data and ensures confidentiality of material, correspondence and data.
  • Exposure to Oracle HRMS will be an added advantage
  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in Total Rewards Management
  • Hands-on-experience of conducting job analysis by using leading market survey data

  • Educational Level :

    Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration / Human Resources Management or a related field
