Corning’s Display Technologies segment manufactures glass substrates for active matrix liquid crystal displays ( LCDs ) that are used primarily in LCD televisions, notebook computers and flat panel desktop monitors.
Purpose of the Position
As a leading manufacturing and technology company, Corning manufacturing systems generate a vast amount of process and product data through advanced control and measurement systems.
The quality data engineer position will be responsible for transforming these valuable data assets into deep insights into the manufacturing process, and help businesses on trouble shooting and performance improvement to assure our long term success on quality output.
In parallel, the quality data engineer will work with multifunctional team to support Corning’s Smart Manufacturing strategy with the state-of-art technologies (such as advanced analytics, machine learnings, etc.)
Day to Day Responsibilities
to identity correlation between manufacturing output and input factors for performance improvement and quality architecture build-up.
