SUMMARY OF POSITION :
The position handles daily operation to support the efficient flow from Purchase Order placement to delivery of goods to fulfill the on-going requirements of Customer accounts.
Manage all Logistics and local warehousing requirements to ensure On-Time In Full (OTIF) delivery performance. Analyze and plan the quantity and demand forecasting to ensure optimal inventory levels in line with company’s goals.
This position should also be accountable for supply of right product at the right time with cost optimization. This position needs to work closely with internal stakeholders dedicated to serving the key Customer accounts : Sales, Customer Service, Finance, Quality, Supply Chain and will need to work independently and at times to coordinate with cross-functional department(across the region) to meet all compliance requirements for all incoming and outgoing goods in terms of quantity and quality.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
Analyze key Customer accounts sales forecast and plan inventory requirement in line with cycle turns, necessary lead time and day of sales.
Align with Quality and Environment, Health and Safety compliance and discipline. Work with Key Customer Accounts Sales and Customer Service to manage forecast accuracy and lead time commitment.
Implement Sales, Inventory ad Operations Planning process as required. Coordinate, Connect and Collaborate across functions and inter-co (for supply from our US and EU facilities) and OEM on demand forecasting and supply to fulfill key customer accounts needs.
Monitor, update progress and manage incoming goods. Plan and ensure optimal inventory levels to support sales activities.
Handle daily activities of purchase order processing, inventory control, shipping, receiving and all logistic requirements.
Ensure uninterrupted supply of goods to customers. Communicate and connect with all related function & our own US and EU facilities, OEM to meet quality, cost and delivery goals.
Manage our own US and EU facilities, OEM, Custom broker, freight forwarder and transporter. Coordinate drop-shipment from vendor or other manufacturing site around the globe.
Manage export shipment or inland delivery from local warehouse to regional distributors / customers. Well verse in Customs, Import / Exports Regulations and all other government procedures.
Work with various cross-function within organization to accomplish objectives or ad hoc tasks. Any other related functions while required by Senior Manager Supply Chain.
DEPARTMENT SPECIFIC / NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS :
Degree in Science or related discipline.
Min 4 years in demand & supply planning, order processing, inventory control, logistic role. Knowledge specialized in planning and buying, logistics related.
Candidates having prior experience of handling logistics & supply planning in specialty chemical
Preferred Skills / Qualifications :
Knowledge to use SAP, Microsoft Excel, Words and Power Point.
Skills / Competencies :
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently across functions and countries, good customer service skills, good leadership skills and team, stay calm under pressure, results oriented, self-driven and self-motivated, committed, independent and good time management skills.
Other Skills :
Good oral and written communication skills in English is must.
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS / SCOPE :
This position will report to Director - Supply Chain AMEA and is required to interact with our Interco, Contract Manufacturing partners, Sales and Marketing personnel, Customer Service, QA, IT, Finance personnel.
Most of the time, this position needs to interact with counterpart from AMEA and our colleagues in U.S and EU.
WORKING CONDITIONS :
Office environment with few domestic travel needed.
