Job Summary & Responsibilities
Position Summary :
The Applications Engineer will provide technical on-site support to enlarge POR share, develop and maintain positive relationship with customers and will bridge new product penetration, support pre-sales efforts with technical presentations, BKM and white papers.
Roles And Responsibilities :
Initiates the design, development, execution and implementation of scientific research projects.
Investigates the feasibility of applying scientific principles and concepts to potential inventions and products.
Plans and executes laboratory research.
Maintains substantial knowledge of state-of-the-art principles and theories, and may contribute to scientific literature and conferences.
Participate in development of patent applications.
Coordinate interdepartmental activities and research efforts.
Qualifications
Required Education And Experience :
More than 2 years working experience in semiconductor metrology area is preferred
Fresh B.S. / M.S. in Engineering Sciences, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Applied Sciences
Fluency in both written and Spoken English required
Ability to work independently under minimal supervision
Ability to deliver effective technical presentations to internal and external audiences
Experience with computational-based modeling
Knowledge of statistics, and design of experiments
Knowledge of basic semiconductor device physics
Knowledge of numerical analysis, mathematical optimization is a plus
Experience with semiconductor fabrication and process integration is a plus
