As an Manufacturing Central Team Contamination & Control member at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be a member of the worldwide Contamination Control team responsible for reducing AMCs and deviations for all Micron Fabs.
The MCT CC Engineer owns the business rules to ensure proper product disposition in the manufacturing sites and work with business partners and key stakeholders to develop a strategy for continually improving contamination control, contributing to and leading quality improvement projects, and supporting customers or activities to resolve non-
conformances.Responsibilities : 1. Leveraging suppliers to achieve benchmark contamination & manufacturing performance, discovery and implementation of Contamination & Control best method (BKM).
2. Interfacing with R&D and procurement as well as interaction with equipment aand materials suppliers to drive contamination associated area manufacturing issues.
Requirements : 1. Comprehensive Contamination Control knowledge that includes but is not limited to cleanroom design, airflow dynamics, filtration, particle sizing, particle tendencies, particle counter theory of operation, ESD, ionization, and airborne molecular contam (AMC’s)2.
Capable of effective collaboration with sites, R&D, procurement, quality engineering, business units, other MCT departments, and external suppliers3.
Capable of international travel as needed4. Troubleshoot contamination process issues5. Troubleshoot contamination equipment issues6.
Forecast and facilitate future contamination monitoring needs7. Able to communicate in English
