    This exciting role offers opportunity to :

  • Providesdesktop, basic application, and telecom support at Eaton locations.
  • Underthe guidance of a more senior peer or a supervisor, this position willparticipate in the centralized support for IT applications and systems toensure timely, reliable, cost effective service to Eaton employees andcustomers.

    Assistsin daily activities relating to IT Site Infrastructure Support of (SIS) DataNetworks especially LAN, PCs, Servers, Telephony, and related systems.

    Possessesa detailed technical understanding of existing systems. Assists with orperforms testing and evaluation of systems as part of a team.

    Assistswith analysis of system related issues.

    Createssystem documentation and best practices in concert with other team members. Thesuccessful candidate will also be responsible for working collaboratively withthe Zone SIS team and Corporate IT functional groups and participates oninitiatives that are part of Eaton Business System processes, which raise thequality of support provided across the entire organization


  • A Bachelor degree in InformationTechnology with two to 2 years experience (preferred) or Associate Degree in business or technologyplus 3 years IT experience
  • ITIL, MCSA, or comparable certification preferred
  • Intermediate Level Knowledge of the following :

    Microsoft Operating Systems

    Microsoft Office Suite

    Endpoint Devices PC, Laptop, Mobile Devices, PC Peripherals

    Other IT Infrastructure (working knowledge) network, servers, storage, phone systems

    Miscellaneous Equipment used in manufacturing locations such as bar code scanners, specialized printers, industrial PCs, RF Scanners, etc.

    Customer Service

    Use of ticketing system and meeting Service Level Agreements

    IT Service Management - Asset Management, Incident Management, Request Management, Problem Management and Change Management
