This position will report to : AVP of Aqua Product Line
This position has 1 direct report- Sales role
Principal Accountabilities :
30% Build, Develop & Maintain Internal / External Customer / Client Relationships : Establish, develop and build strong working relationships across the aqua feed industry in Asia with emphasis on strategic & highly complex customers.
Targeted interactions with executive and general management, operations, R&D, procurement, and formulation teams as well as key industry influencers in both the academia and private sectors.
Manage global relationship with strategic customers and prospects in the aquafeed and shrimp industries and provide leadership and partnering with the aqua commercial team to acquire new business from prospective strategic customers outside of Asia.
30% Achievement of Performance Targets; Measurement & Results : Responsible for introducing new business, generating profitable new accounts, and growth of existing targeted accounts through identification and recommending new opportunities related to customer needs.
Provide support for the development and execution of annual sales strategy ensuring understanding of brand requirements, strategic importance, and market & pricing tactics.
Drive execution and delivery of defined & quantifiable sales targets through implementation of detailed sales plan focusing on both personal accounts and support of other team members as required.
25% Research & Identify Customer / Business Needs including Solution Identification & Proposal Development / Sales Execution / Value Optimization & Technical Strategy : Utilize complex industry, farm management, feed manufacturing and nutritional knowledge, to develop, lead and deliver on complex customer solutions to strategic global customers inside and outside of Asia (including ration formulations, limited consulting, understanding of risk management, etc.
Provide support for customer service issues, new product development, marketing strategies, and other key value propositions using recognized industry and product expertise.
15% General Management of Aqua product line Asian employees and operations : Responsible for working with employees, contract employees, suppliers, vendors and functional resources to ensure efficient operations of all business functions (contracting, invoicing, sales, logistics, inventory management, VAT, regulatory, etc.
Establishment of expectations, measurements, and performance feedback for employees, contractors, and vendors to ensure full execution of the brand promise on all product and service parameters.
