Job Mission

  • The Customer Support Organization is responsible for the installation,
  • qualification, repair and maintenance of the ASML systems at the customer site

    and is responsible for the necessary transfer of know-how to the


  • The Customer Support Engineer (CSE), an ambassador for ASML, must be the
  • first line of support for the repair and maintenance of the ASML Systems.

  • The CSE will interface with the customers, peers, local 2nd line support and
  • staff management to assure timely and accurate support.

  • The CSE must be able to clearly communicate between key stakeholders of
  • technical, organizational and operational stakeholders in relation to driving

    availability to their specific customer.

    Job Description

  • On-Call Shift 09 : 00am 09 : 00
  • pm (weekend)

  • Performing software activities in FAB; issue troubleshooting & tracking
  • proactively

  • Affinity with software engineering and customer interaction
  • Driving for solution to achieve system performance target of Availability /
  • MTBI / LD reduction.

  • Continuously improve the software performance to meet the customer’s needs
  • expectations and to achieve system performance target.

  • Alignment with HQ software team on software changes, interfaces, solutions, technology,
  • infrastructure, etc.

  • Support NPI and bridge new knowledge and skill to strength service team
  • capability.

  • Quality assurance to guarantee project delivery with a good balance between
  • functionality, quality, effort and timing

  • Being a team player. Speak up and work proactively in achieving the team goals
  • and business success

  • Take initiative and out of box thinking to enhance system performance and
  • stability. Propose different solutions to choose from and indicate and justify


    Master degree or above in Computer Science or related subject with emphasis on software engineering


  • Experience on UNIX or LINUX system administration
  • Experience on Software developing and releasing support is preferred
  • Good knowledge on network troubleshooting (router / routing / switch / vlan).
  • Experience on handling workstations / midrange-server from SUN / Oracle and HP
  • blade server will be a plus

  • Experience on factory automation.(S.E.C.S.)
  • Experience on programming with any languages and scripts (shell / PERL / Python)
  • Personal skills

  • New graduate or experienced software engineer with relevant work experience in software
  • office / customer sites
