This is an exciting role for an experienced marketer to work across all facets of digital marketing for Sony films.
The Marketing Manager, Digital & Social will decipher and implement local marketing strategy and generate / execute comprehensive digital campaigns and advertising, covering social and mobile, to support Sony movie releases in Taiwan.
This position will also localize and utilize digital contents and work with home office to provide strong digital support to local marketing team.
Design and implement strategies of digital marketing, social media (paid & organic), and owned online channels
Collaborate with the global digital team to further develop and plan digital strategies for the local market
Implement international digital activations in Taiwan to support home office’s initiatives
Execute centrally originated digital assets ordering from home office for localization
Manage social content calendars for any owned social channels, including content creation and approval, scheduling, community management and analytics
Provide social publishing, monitoring analytics update and create optimized strategies
Manage and negotiate creative production costs with agencies, raise purchase orders and manage invoice queries
Work closely with home office media team to evaluate and implement pan-regional media plans
Manage digital budget and work with media agency to develop, evaluate, and execute paid digital media campaigns that are in line with digital marketing strategy for Sony Pictures Entertainment properties
Deliver post mortem analysis and recommendations to maximize media spending and achieve optimum exposure in the right digital channels
Negotiate with media agency and media partners for special media and promotion package deals
Deliver junket nominations with digital outlets, talent activations, content placement, coverage reporting and screening invites for Sony Picture Entertainment titles
Work closely with cross-functions to ensure offline / partnership activations are well integrated within the digital campaign
Build Sony Pictures Entertainment brand and franchise loyalty and manage consumer relationship across digital platforms
Maintain a roster of relationships across the digital landscape (Facebook, Google, YouTube, Line, Tik Tok, etc.) to keep up-to-date with the latest innovations in digital platforms and identify opportunities for Sony Pictures Entertainment campaigns
Establish relationships with influencers, media partners and other stakeholders to achieve digital strategic objectives and maximize campaign effectiveness
University or above education in Marketing, Business, or Mass Communication / Advertising / film / entertainment related field
Excellent verbal and written communications skills, in both English and Chinese
Typically a minimum of 6 years’ relevant experience in a digital marketing role within an agency and / or entertainment and / or experience in a large or global organization
Knows the digital and technical landscape - comprehensive experience across all aspects of digital marketing
Ability to develop local digital strategies based on head office guideline and strategy
Ability to propose best integrated digital marketing strategies / campaigns depending on different genre and titles
Possess genuine interest in digital marketing, a passion and good understanding for social media and movies. Sensitive to media, environment, entertainment industry, and digital trends.
Must be an avid user of social media.
