Purpose of Role

Under the guidance of Director of Sales, Sales Manager will be responsible for achieving / exceeding room revenue budget in their designated markets.

The Sales Manager interfaces with hotel management (Director of Sales) to report on personnel issues, individual sales, service performance, as well as market survey related to Sales Department.

Responsibly Description

To ensure achievement of individual sales goals, business objectives and department profitability.

To operate with peak efficiency through coordination, communication and cooperation to support the department.

To participate and promote all Marriott global sales programs and utilise all sales tools / systems.

Maintain regular contact with Marriott Global Sales Offices and where appropriate, submit sales leads within the Marriott network.

To answer telephone and take messages for the department in adherence to W Taipei Sales Department and hotel standards.

To maintain all files in accordance with established hotel procedures and standard.

To provide an inspiring example of Room Sales citizenship, demonstrate responsibility and resourcefulness by asserting, protecting and demonstrating the core values of Sales and Marketing and W Hotels.

To effectively support and action on Sales objectives such as customer service, financial targets, revenues and profits.

To maintain image enhancement and adhere to W Style.

Required to conduct duties in a courteous, safe and efficient manner, in accordance with Sales Department and W Hotels policies and procedures, ensuring that the highest level of service and communication is maintained.

Required to adhere to and support Sales & Marketing plan in its implementation

To cooperate and communicate with the Director of Sales on a regular basis.
