Join AMD’s team of highly skilled professionals in managing the quality performance of key customers in the production of our leading-edge Client, Graphics, Gaming Console CPU and GPU products.
Our presence in region gives this customer quality engineering team exposure to multiple AMD sales, platform, product development teams and manufacturing operation teams.
This team partners with AMD Platform Team and Customer Engineering Team to enables AMD product introduction & volume ramp to the satisfaction of our customers.
As a member of our Manufacturing Quality Engineering team, you will be a critical part of driving innovation in high-performance computing, graphics, and visualization technologies building blocks for gaming, immersive platforms and the data center.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
Play a critical role as the key contact for product quality and post-sales support for AMD customers, accurately represent customer’s requirement within AMD.
Interact with AMD's key customer's procurement, quality, and manufacturing contacts to understand customer requirements and resolve quality and reliability issues related to the product qualification, ramp, and high-volume manufacturing.
Program manage cross functional technical teams to identify containment and determine root cause for Customer issues. Cross functional teams may consist of Design, Software, Platform, Product Engineering, Test Engineering, Packaging Engineering, Failure Analysis, Customer Engineering, Sales Ops and Supplier Quality Engineering.
Manages the overall customer quality relationship, work closely with customer to fully understand their business from a quality perspective.
Escalate potential issues to AMD's management to avoid customer disruption and ensure timely resolution.
Provide AMD's cross functional team with customer priorities to ensure resources are aligned to support critical activities.
Write and deliver customer facing presentations to communicate frequent technical status and deliver technical solution.
Ensures that customer’s needs have been met and that the product or solution is fully functioning according to specification.
Provides post sales technical expertise during the installation, implementation and maintenance of company products. May be involved in implementing detailed customer installation requirements.
Improve customer engineering service efficiency via metrics optimization and monitoring.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS :
B.S. or above in Computer Science or Electrical engineering with related experience in the areas of Platform, Product or Quality engineering.
