With dedicated hardware, multi-core processors and GPU, QCT imaging solutions achieve state of the art video / photo quality, and also target applications requiring auto white balance, auto exposure control, auto focus, automatic scene detection and compensation.
Responsibilities will include the design and development of new features, support for new hardware, debugging of issues within the software, optimizing software for performance and power, development of unit tests and working with our partners and OEMs.
The successful candidate will be exposed to 3A (auto exposure, auto focus and auto white balance), image signal processors, camera sensors, as well as integration with other technologies including motion sensors, video encoders, DSPs, GPU and display.
All Qualcomm employees are expected to actively support diversity on their teams, and in the Company.This candidate collaborates closely with San Diego, California headquarter engineers for joint R&D projects and travel to US. Responsibilities :
5+ years Systems Engineering or related work experience.
Preferred Qualifications - History of development of Android HAL components- Linux kernel and user space development experience- Experienced working with real time systems- Experienced in development of driver and frameworks for multimedia systems including camera, audio, video, display and graphics- Interest and experience with camera components such as 3A, ISP and camera sensors- Interest in photography and image processing- Demonstrated self-driven engineer willing to take initiative and operate with minimum guidance- Demonstrated abilities to design extensible software to support evolving requirements- Ability to learn quickly, work hard and have fun.
