Accountability :

Direct reporting to the Head of JAPAC Region Learning & Performance and dot line reporting to the Head of Commercial Excellence in Taiwan, this position would deliver internal training program and effectively allocate internal and external training resources to provide required training to BUs to support a strong portfolio of current and future products to optimize in field sales capabilities and productivity.

Sales force capability assessment and enhancement include (Sr.) Biopharma Reps selling capabilities and DSMs coaching capabilities.

The role will work in close collaboration with Brand Teams, Leadership Team, external agencies as well as regional counterpart.

Responsibilities :

Design, modify, and deliver training to further develop sales competency and improve territory planning skill that build upon the curriculum for new hire and existing field staff, and to leverage the SFE application of data (sales, activities) and tools (i.

e. Veeva CRM, eDA, sales analytics).

Lead the direction of selling skill training programs and managers coaching facilitation to enable the success of sales force selling capabilities.

Provide standard disease / product training to new hires and ensure they possess the knowledge / capabilities to meet Amgen’s basic requirements.

Joint call with field force to observe Selling Skill / P4 practice in-field in order to conduct quarterly assessment and provide insights during year end evaluation.

Product certification process alignment cross BU.

DSMs’ Coaching reporting follow up and facilitate for enhancement.

Timely execute territory potential analysis, sales force sizing, territory alignment and target setting project with commercial team

Organize routine communication on SFE related topics to commercial team.

Align regional training requirement and support any ad hoc training activities.

When needed, engage best suited external vendor and facilitate training for DSMs on leadership / coaching / team management training.

Basic Qualifications :

At least 10+ years of relevant work experience with pharmaceutical prescription, sales, marketing or selling skill training

Working knowledge of coaching management tool (i.e. Veeva, Salesforce.com etc.)

Must be able to act in an intermediary role to facilitate alignment between sales, marketing, and other commercial support functions

Strong communication skill in both Mandarin and English is a must (written, verbal, and presentation)

Strong training delivery and coach skill

Proven troubleshooting, problem solving, analytical, and investigational skills

Computer skills (MS Office Suite)

Preferred Qualifications :

Minimum 5 years’ experience in learning and development within pharmaceutical industry preferred

Proven people management and coaching experience.

Proven training skills able to design, conduct and deliver training programs.

Strong passion for training and people development.

A fast leaner for new technology or concept.

Training management experience.
