Taiwan Local Adaptation Center Manager-004ZLC

MISSION

Why and what is the expected contributions of the position to the results of the organization the position exists)

  • To manage Local Adaptation Center (LAC) activities for Taiwan country in order to master customer satisfaction in terms of quality and delivery performance for ACB / MCCB / HVX and other Low & Medium Voltage products.
  • To manage the Laboratory compliance to TAF & BOE certifications including yearly process audit by governmental offices, test reports validation for each HVX manufactured in Taiwan LAC, calibration of test equipments & tools, alignment with Xiamen practices & training of internal resources
  • Ensure compliance to Local Adaptation charter
  • What is the expected contributions of the position to the results of the organization)

  • Manage the order fulfillment process, plan and organize the work of the team in the adaptation center
  • set up a governance mechanism through SIM cycle for the LAC to drive the performance and remove roadblocks,
  • Use the SIOP process to improve the delivery performance and reduce lead times
  • pursue aggressively all improvement projects related to safety, service, quality, efficiency, engagement and cost.
  • Manage the laboratory certification by TAF & BOE including yearly audits as well as equipments calibration & training of resources
  • Collaborate with Xiamen factory to align Laboratory & manufacturing process to leverage best practices and ensure HVX compliance to technical specifications from Continuous Engineering.
  • Ensure SPS / Smart Factory practices are deployed
  • Work to develop the teams using the 3E model, continually improve the competency of the team
  • liaison with all external partners to ensure the success of the mission related to adaptation center

    Education :

    Bachelor degree in Industrial Engineering / Electrical Engineering

    Working Experience :

    Minimum 7 years work experience in relevant functions such as Production, Quality, Methods,

    Business Understanding :

    Having exposure to different late adaptation processes of Schneider having CTO delivery mode.

    Knowledge of Schneider end to end supply chain and critical points engagement on both upstream and downstream will be crucial for success in this role.

    Understanding of SPS and being able to apply it on the shop floor

    Experience in cross functional roles between production, methods, quality, planning, warehousing

    Understanding of technical aspect of electrical breakers and local certification processes

    Others (e.g. language skills, technical skills) :

    Fluent in English, experience working with multi-cultural global teams in a matrix organization would be an advantage
