As a Programs Specialist, you will enthusiastically represent the Google brand and build our talent pipeline. Whether it’s making our staffing systems more efficient, planning for our growth, building relationships on college campuses or cultivating the next generation of computer scientists, you will have an eye on the staffing needs of Google and the broader hiring landscape.

You'll be focused on cultivating outstanding candidates for Google's long-term hiring needs, and you are the glue that ties together a cross-functional and international group of staffing teams.

You’ll play an essential role advancing a more diverse, accessible, equitable, and inclusive Google through our hiring, promotion, retention, and inclusion practices.


  • Partner closely with the business to drive key programs and initiatives that power Google’s growth through knowledge, attracting, and engaging diverse talent.
  • Build an inclusive and diverse workforce, including participation in activities that contribute to organizational aspirational diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) goals.
  • Act as a trusted talent advisor to drive velocity and representation.

  • Partner with intelligence, online, and distributions teams across talent engagement to promote compelling content that inspires potential candidates to action.
  • Be creative and driven, and develop lasting relationships with both internal (e.g. recruiters, Human Resources Business Partner, Management Hub Router) and external (e.
  • g. event participants).

  • Draw insights from analytics. Leverage data analytics and insights from candidates and partners to plan, develop, and execute program initiatives as you support hiring needs.
  • Minimum qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 1 year of experience in a recruiting or sourcing role, working directly with candidates.
  • Ability to speak and write in English and Mandarin fluently.
  • Preferred qualifications :

  • Experience managing content creation, curation, and editing through in-house teams or agencies.
  • Experience with project management and delivering results with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships with a diverse range of partners and influence at multiple levels of an organization.
  • Ability to work with a sense of urgency and highly motivated.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities and excellent creative thinking and analytical skills.
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
