Within the BST, the Representative Business Services is responsible for Finance activities within the cluster. The role includes support of the management team of the cluster in maintain and verify balance accounts, expense entries, and other records & to analyze inventory values and compile the reconciliation report & transfer pricing management & product costing defining CAPEX envelop and monitoring & reporting on investments.

This role is a true multitasker, also supporting the business in the general transactional procurement and general HR activities.

Responsibilities : At cluster level, responsibilities for the role will include but are not limited to : General Ledger : Verify accounting records to assess accuracy and compliance.

Maintain and balance accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions; resolving discrepancies ensuring proper support documentation is in place.

  • Prepare and record asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account information. Summarize financial status by collecting information;
  • prepare balance sheet, profit and loss, cash flow and other statementsProduct cost planning : Perform and deliver product cost planning, analysis and reporting.

    Guides cost analysis process by enforcing policies and procedures, explaining processes and techniquesCAPEX : Following up end-to-end CAPEX process, including financial justification calculation and post investment reviews.

    Inventory management : Perform and deliver inventory accounting. Support Operations and Supply Chain in improving inventory management, including period stock takes and surveys, reconciliations, periodic reviews of obsolete and slow-moving inventory and recommendation for write-offs.

    Analysis and reporting : Drive and deliver period end-closing analysis and reporting. Ensure database are timely updated and integrity checks are performed.

    Analyse, interpret data and make comparative analyses; studying proposed changes in methods and materials.Budgeting and forecast : Set up and deliver cluster budget and forecast.

    Monitor the variances between budgeting and actuals.Tax : Ensure the company complies with all tax regulation / tax reports.

    Monitor reconciliation between Financial and tax reporting. Ensure a full transfer pricing file is available and in accordance with domestic transfer pricing regulations.

    Tax inquiries, tax audits and tax consultancy are well informed to Group Tax team.Insurance : Liaise with HQ and local insurer on yearly insurance coverage.

    Ensure the appropriate and sufficient protection (i.e. insurance) of assets by continuously identifying and minimizing risks.

    About you : With a Bachelor Degree in Accounting / Finance or in a related field. You are looking for a more influential and multi-functional role, as a true contributor to an industrial multi-sites business.

    Commercially astute, you communicate and manage relationships well.You are generally have good knowledge and understand of Financial controlling activities, budgeting and forecast processes and models.

    Expertise in running profitability analysis, variance analysis, costing deviation analysis and working capital monitoring, in addition, practical and technical understanding of the cost structure of the cluster.

    You also have a strong affinity with technology and quickly adapt to new technology tools and processes. Expert in working with Office 365 and ERP system, by preference SAP.

    You are pro-active, able to work independently, as well as diplomatic and performance & action oriented, with strong problem solving skills.

    And finally, you are hands-on and an expert at multi-tasking.
