Objectives and Scope of Position :
Manage the assigned product portfolio, at Roche Pharma Taiwan, in alignment with Roche global goals and strategies.
Establish marketing priorities and guarantee the strategic focus with the right resource allocation and management.
Drive business success by defining and implementing the local marketing plans, ensuring that the commercial teams have the knowledge and the tools required for that.
Achieve quantitative (Sales, KPIs, Market Share, etc.) and qualitative targets of the respective product line
Annual Business Plan for the defined portfolio
Succeed in implementing new tests and technologies in Taiwan market
Efficient cost management and forecasting accuracy
Contributes to the achievement of the company profitability objectives
Clear positioning, messaging and branding guidelines.
Impactful events in terms of congresses and stand alone meetings.
Effective promotional and medical education materials.
Consistent implementation of global strategy through frequent communication with affiliates.
Forecast accuracy in line with guidance
Primary Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Accountable for the management of a defined product portfolio with specific attention to product availability to meet customer demand / business needs
Translate Roche Pharma Global strategy into local marketing plans
Help develop appropriate marketing strategy and tactical action plans to optimize performance
Plan and successfully launch new products
Ensure that all products are actively forecasted; manage the introduction / withdrawal of products; and that product changes / updates are communicated
Ensure that all commercial product management tasks are properly implemented
Ensure that the sales force has the product related knowledge and skills required to sell / promote the products; providing training in the respective area
Monitor monthly progress against plan and recommend corrective actions
Undertake regular field visits, including key customers and opinion leaders
Participate in relevant customer / marketing meetings and event / congress
Work with the Senior Marketing and Sales management to organize customer meetings
Manage the marketing budget in accordance to agreed latest financial plans
Align with Medical Marketing the strategic plans and promotional activities for high medical value tests
Support Tender Dep. on product knowledge updates
Regular competitive analysis and key market trends, to share with commercial operations
Respect the compliance with all relevant Roche guidelines and policies
Professional and Technical Requirements
Education / Qualifications :
Minimum : University degree or above in Science, Marketing or Business Management
Experience, Skills, Knowledge
More than 3-year experience of Pharmaceutical Product Management experience
Product positioning and branding
Has demonstrated experience of translating science into marketing messages
Managed branding, medical education and PR / Communication agencies
Budget management experience
Has achieved sales and marketing goals
Has experience in leading multi-disciplinary teams.
Ideally has launched a product
Understands the sales / marketing relationship
Key Opinion Leader development and management
How to work in cross functional teams
Budgeting and forecasting process
Pharmaceutical market characteristics
Proven business acumen
Solid interpersonal and teamwork skills
