As a CPU Architect, you'll be among the main contributors to processor instruction set architecture improvement. You’ll lead a CPU performance team which collaborates with system architects and software teams for pertinent analysis of application and benchmark performances.

Working with Power, Thermal, and Physical Design teams you will also help determine the appropriate processor cluster features and parameters.

Your team will manage processor performance projects at every stage of the development cycle. Leveraging your ARM-specific knowledge, you will support the configuration and integration of ARM cores into the overall design, including working with power, clock, debug, security, and other related subsystems.

Responsibilities

  • Be part of a processor performance modeling and architecture team, responsible for both pre-silicon and post-silicon performance projection / analysis.
  • Join a team that evaluates ARM architecture features from both performance and architecture angles.
  • Collaborate with Application Software team on application performance analysis.
  • Minimum qualifications :

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in a directly related industry.
  • Experience in modern, high-performance CPU architecture, microarchitecture techniques, and performance modeling / analysis.
  • Preferred qualifications :

  • PhD in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
  • 5 years of industry experience.
  • Experience with processor instruction architecture (e.g., ARM, RISCV, x86).
  • Experience in ARM CPU performance analysis, tools, and simulators at different abstraction levels.
  • Experience in architecture / microarchitecture, integrating ARM cores into SoC’s at architectural, microarchitectural, and RTL levels.
  • System knowledge of ARM-based SoC. Knowledge of Linux and Android.
