Minimum qualifications : Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical experience.3 years of experience in high speed signal design.

Experience with industry SI / PI simulation toolExperience on TDR, VNA and real-time scopePreferred qualifications : Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.

6 years of experience implementing a product development process for mass volume production design, with a focus on signal integrity, power integrity, and electromagnetic interference (EMI).

Experience working with System on Chip (SoC) on the definition of power delivery network from circuit to voltage regulator and SoC package models to perform system-

level SI / PI / EMI integrity design.Tool experience on ANSYS and CST.Knowledge of ANT / RF matching circuit design.About the jobOur computational challenges are so big, complex and unique we can't just purchase off-

the-shelf hardware, we've got to make it ourselves. Your team designs and builds the hardware, software and networking technologies that power all of Google's services.

As a Hardware Engineer, you design and build the systems that are the heart of the world's largest and most powerful computing infrastructure.

You develop from the lowest levels of circuit design to large system design and see those systems all the way through to high volume manufacturing.

Your work has the potential to shape the machinery that goes into our cutting-edge data centers affecting millions of Google users.

As a Signal and Power Integrity Engineer, within Devices and Services at Google, you will develop technologies that change how users connect, explore, and interact with information and one another.

As a member of an extraordinarily creative, motivated, and talented team, you will develop products demonstrating versatility and a passion to resolve new challenges as we continue to expand technology forward.

In this role, you'll be involved in the early stages of project planning (e.g., component selection, feasibility study, etc), defining Printed Circuit Board (PCB) stack-

up and exploring solution space through pre-layout simulation. You'll also define Product Deviation Note (PDN) requirements, set constraints for PCB layout, and review the layout while being fully involved in lab validation and correlation with simulation.

You will work in a fast-paced environment with a team of electrical, mechanical, and layout engineers to provide design guidance for high speed PCB, ensuring Signal / Power Integrity and EMI for the next generation products.

Google's mission is to organize the world's information and make it universally accessible and useful. Our Devices & Services team combines the best of Google AI, Software, and Hardware to create radically helpful experiences for users.

We research, design, and develop new technologies and hardware to make our user's interaction with computing faster, seamless, and more powerful.

Whether finding new ways to capture and sense the world around us, advancing form factors, or improving interaction methods, the Devices & Services team is making people's lives better through technology.

ResponsibilitiesParticipate in all stages of next generation consumer product development.Manage Signal Integrity (SI) and Power Integrity (PI) of product and its sub-

component development.Provide detailed SI and PI rules for cutting edge PCB and Flex technology (e.g., circuits and layout design for high speed signal FPC and connector, SI / PI analysis and design to meet electric requirement, product validation and supporting production test, buildup design and test capability including design guideline and lab setup, etc.

Drive resolution of SI / PI challenges in collaboration with the design engineer, PCB designer, and system teams.Work with Engineering / Qualification teams on system bring-

up and design validation. At Google, we don’t just accept difference we celebrate it, we support it, and we thrive on it for the benefit of our employees, our products and our community.
