Your role

  • Define, develop, and deploy social media programs and best practices.
  • Manage all social media related client communication, client deliverables, project timelines, and reporting.
  • Champion social media to multiple stakeholders : clients, client legal teams, media planning teams, internal digital teams, prospective clients, and outside / agency partners.
  • Track competitive analysis and identify trends.
  • Establish proper metrics of measurement for each client campaign.
  • Provide insights and analysis around program performance.
  • Prioritize projects based on solid business case and determine guidelines for evaluating benefits and risks for certain social media engagements.
  • Lead in crisis management and †next steps' for negative PR.
  • Lead in writing agency case studies and presentations.
  • Coordinate effectively with account managers, media planning teams, creative, outreach and PR, and partner agency contacts.
  • Identify opportunities and successfully incrementally grow department revenue.
  • Nurture and strengthen client's understanding of the social media space and their brand's performance.
  • Train and educate team.
  • Work across teams and with client to define strategic plans and holistic social media marketing proposals.
  • Your profile

  • Minimum of 3 years agency-side, brand-side or start-up experience
  • Proven leader who is comfortable managing a small team
  • Strong understanding of social and digital space (paid, owned, earned)
  • Experience overseeing full strategy planning and execution : media, content, community management, moderation, and analytics.
  • Highly analytical with a strong understanding of performance metrics as related to social endeavors
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem solving abilities
  • Strong experience in marketing Fortune 500 brands
  • Experience negotiating with outside vendors, including negotiating contracts, resolving issues, and reconciling differences
  • Excellent written / verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to make complex concepts simple and actionable
  • Ability to partner with other leaders (creative, editorial, media planning, PR) to align teams' content output across channels
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
  • Passionate about social media marketing and up-to-date with current market trends
