As an Manufacturing Central Team Defect Reduction Engineer, you will be responsible for providing leadership to the global Micron network to drive yield and product quality improvement through technical expertise, business process management and project execution.
Develop defect reduction and defect control best-known-methods and business processes through close partnership with various fabs in the network, R&D, and suppliers.
Fan out and deploy defect reduction and defect control BKMs across the network.
Track and benchmark fab's defect performance metrics. Identify and share defect improvement activities across the network.
Facilitate and drive global peer groups to ensure alignment on defect reduction strategy and roadmap to achieve defect goals.
Provide tactical support and work together with the fabs to solve problem.
Manage and prioritize various global projects through Copy Smart Team.
Effectively collaborate with manufacturing sites and across departments to accomplish objectives.
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
Minimum 2 years' experience in RDA. Experience in defect reduction and defect control projects is a plus.
Possess knowledge of Fab processes and a basic understanding of probe and parametric functions.
Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Must be experienced in using excels or yield3 software for data analysis.
Good leadership skill and proven ability to make decision.
Excellent in communication, team work, and collaboration with other departments.
Able to travel overseas.
