Our Team provides managed services and proactive and reactive support to our global customers. We utilize tools, process and knowledge to integrate and maintain Akamai security, media, and performance solutions for our clients.

Become a trusted advisor

As a Technical Project Manager, from pre-sales through to integration and performance, you will be an end-to-end trusted advisor to customers, managing their engagement with our platform and building technical solutions.

In a high-impact, fast-paced environment you'll be project managing, problem-solving and building close relationships with customers across many industries.

As a Technical Project Manager II, you will be responsible for :

  • Advocating best practice for the customer and internal teams during product design, development and implementation
  • Being the central point of contact for customers and leading the integrated account team delivering customer success
  • Partnering with the business to review and ensure integration efficiency, high quality service and keep customers engaged
  • Identifying service enhancements and potential problems to ensure continuous improvements to quality of customer service delivery
  • Communicating with internal, external customers and partners to share information and deliverables
  • Do what you love

    To be successful in this role you will :

  • 5 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or related field or its equivalent
  • Demonstrate experience in a customer-facing role within the information technology industry
  • Show some experience of managing and delivering technical customer projects successfully
  • Show understanding of working with network technologies, web performance or media related technologies, methodologies and / or architectures
  • Demonstrate experience in delivering technical projects with an ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Demonstrate communication skills and an ability to build trusting relationships with customers across various levels
  • Be a good team player, able to collaborate, prioritize, and solve problems in a fast changing environment
