What You Will Do In Your Role
PRIMARY PURPOSE :
The component engineering is responsible to design critical building blocks in component.
Operate simulation tool for building block optimization
Evaluate building block performance.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
Conduct detail design optimization following high level design models from the managers.
Manage specific steps in executing engineering prototypes or functional samples and / or in conducting design validation inspection and testing
Layout detail design implementation and process requirements for production transfer
Validate and document design details, principles and rationales
Design building block to meet target specification.
Operate design simulation tool according to expertise, like HFSS, FIMMWAVE / FIMMPROP, SILVAGO ..
Co-work internally to complete building block performance evaluation
Define testing plan and condition for building block and debug.
Conduct design review to settle design parameters.
SCOPE : Focus on specific scope of design and / or design implementation and give technical proposal
The Experience You Will Bring
Requirements : EDUCATION :
EDUCATION : REQUIRED :
REQUIRED :
1.Master degree 2.Physics.in semiconductor, optics or optoelectronics
PREFERRED :
Major in optoelectronics and educated on optical waveguides and trained in using relevant design simulation tools
WORK EXPERIENCE :
REQUIRED : At least 1 years’ experience in optical communication industry, or in relevant academic research project
PREFERRED :
Have>
Have>
2 years of experience in either area of optoelectronic device design, Photonic integrated circuit design or RF / DC characterization.
Have designed and characterized semiconductor laser, photo-detector or passive device.
Have work experience in III-V or Si-fab for device fabrication.
What Will Put You Ahead
SKILLS & ABILITIES : REQUIRED :
REQUIRED :
Familiar with at least one of the design simulation tools for semiconductor device, waveguide optics, RF integrity or IC layout.
Good team working and communication skills
Good in reading & writing, reasonably in speaking English
PREFERRED :
Experience in running simulation tool like HFSS, FIMMWAVE / FIMMPROP, SILVAGO or other similar tools
