The Intel Systems Products Group (SPG) is looking for an experienced Sustaining System Hardware Design Engineer that help to sustain develop products for Client Computing Group's (CCG) Systems Business.
SPG's products include Intel NUC, Intel Compute Card and Intel Laptop products families. SPG is a fast-paced, rapidly growing business unit whose charter is to expand to Intel worldwide presence by accelerating global Channel growth through innovative business models and platform solutions tailored to meet local market needs.
We have employees worldwide who handle all aspects of the business from product definition, technical development enabling, marketing, business development and sales.
In this position, you will be responsible for products sustaining support within SPG in CCG. You will be working with Product Development Teams, Marketing, Customer Support and ODM partners to support leading edge products.
Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to :
Providing consistent engineering voice to our customers and factories, ensuring continuous production and delivery of high quality, profitable products to Intel customers
Managing ODMs to meet product requirements and drive product process improvements, be actively involved in design changes, new Stock Keeping Unit (SKU) creation, customers issue debugging and cost optimization.
Products BOM matrix management. ECO (Engineering Change Order) activities coordination, managing and host QAN (Quality Action Notice) meeting with design ODM and internal team during excursion.
Working with ODM on Microsoft OS image creation for L10 products.
You must possess a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or related degree with 5 or more years of work experience.
Additional qualifications include :
Motherboard design background. PC or Laptop system knowledge.
Experience working with ODM factories-Demonstrated skills in decision making, project management, organization, statistics and data analysis.
Strong presentation skills-Strong oral and written communication skills in both English and Mandarin required-self-starter, mature with ability to successfully influence and motivate others in a positive manner
Ability to multitask in a highly mixed environment
