RESPONSIBILITIES :
Help isolate and analyze failures and support the client application engineering team to find the root cause of issues.
Assist client engineering team in analyzing issue trends and monitoring KPIs.
Communicate with various internal departments to resolve anomalies.
Participate in issuing internally releasable issue analysis reports.
Perform software and hardware level test using external and internal AMD test tools.
REQUIREMENTS :
Some experience in video / graphics, CPU / APU and system level hardware and software design and usage.
Understanding of reference board usage, high level board design.
Exposure to basics of BIOS, UEFI and OS level drivers.
Familiarity with Linux (Ubuntu / RHEL).
Familiarity in using MS operating systems and the configuration / setting of PCs.
Understanding of Power Query / Power BI or any similar data reporting tool is a plus.
Good written and oral communication skills (fluent English required).
Self-motivated and able to work with guidance effectively to meet time requirements.
EDUCATION :
College student obtaining EE, ECE, CS or similar technical degree.
