As an Manufacturing Central TeamDefect Reduction Engineer, you will be responsible for providingleadership to the global Micron network to drive yield and productquality improvement through technical expertise, business processmanagement and projectexecution.

  • Developdefect reduction and defect control best-known-methods and businessprocesses through close partnership with various fabs in thenetwork, R&D, and suppliers.
  • Fan out anddeploy defect reduction and defect control BKMs across thenetwork.
  • Track and benchmark fab's defectperformance metrics. Identify and share defect improvementactivities across the network.
  • Facilitate anddrive global peer groups to ensure alignment on defect reductionstrategy and roadmap to achieve defectgoals.
  • Provide tactical support and worktogether with the fabs to solve problem.
  • Manageand prioritize various global projects through Copy SmartTeam.
  • Effectively collaborate withmanufacturing sites and across departments to accomplishobjectives.
  • Requirements

  • Bachelor'sDegree in Engineering.
  • Minimum 2 years'experience in RDA. Experience in defect reduction and defectcontrol projects is a plus.
  • Possess knowledgeof Fab processes and a basic understanding of probe and parametricfunctions.
  • Possess strong analytical andproblem-solving skills. Must be experienced in using excels oryield3 software for data analysis.
  • Goodleadership skill and proven ability to makedecision.
  • Excellent in communication, teamwork, and collaboration with otherdepartments.
  • Self-motivated
  • Ableto travel overseas.
  • Able to travel 20-30%annually.
