Senior Associate, Fixed Income Index Management

Role Purpose

The Senior associate of Fixed Income Index Management Team plays a significant role in the management and development of the global and regional fixed income products suite.

The primary focus of the role will be to manage and contribute to the expansion of the global benchmark and ETFs administered by FTSE Russell.

Successful candidate will contribute to the Fixed Income Index development Strategy that spans across passive and active investment.

Role Responsibilities

  • The Senior associate of Fixed Income Index Management Team will be tasked to support the management of fixed income indexes with proficient knowledge in policies, procedures and controls;
  • Successful candidate will be making recommendations to ensure all relevant, real-world events are evaluated and reflected;
  • In addition, the senior associate in Fixed Income Index Management team is responsible for analysing global fixed income market to deliver broad market study and product research that will enrich the index family offering;
  • Collaboration with regional and global stake holders across sales, client service, consulting, and technology to develop successful index and support portfolio management is expected.

    Minimum Requirements

  • Degree in Economics, Finance, Math, Computer Science or Engineering with high academic standing
  • Strong analytical mind set with comprehensive understanding of fixed income and financial market
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to navigate through challenging situations in a professional manner.
  • Excellent organisational skills ability to prioritize, manage, multi-task, and execute projects cross-functionally
  • Previous experience in an index-related role and working knowledge on programming would be a plus
