What you’ll do

We’re looking for an inspiring and established consulting professional to predominantly manage delivery of complex solutions projects and operations of a consulting practice.

You will :

Provide delivery leadership to SAS projects across all sectors. Must also have ability to work as part of a cohesive team to perform a business development function with the sales team in pursuits of SAS Solutions opportunities.

Expected 60% effort on delivery and 40% effort in business development.

  • Overall project portfolio management function, providing leadership, coordination, and management of delivery
  • Country level portfolio P&L management
  • People Manager with responsibility in recruitment, supervision, mentoring, coaching, appraisal, induction, development and performance management of professional services team
  • Monitor and report on project status, profitability, billing, resource prioritization, risks and issues, quality and customer satisfaction for portfolio of projects.
  • Work on opportunities with Account / Sales Managers and Sales Directors to position SAS solutions in collaboration with technical experts and industry / domain experts.
  • Discover and uncover requirements from customers / prospects and tailor our proposition and solution to meet those requirements.
  • Develops estimations working with broader team of technical consultants, project managers, architects and specialists.
  • Make business calls using reasonable assumptions.

  • Develop proposals, SOWs and RFP responses with appropriate value propositions.
  • Contract pricing and negotiation
  • Work with other partners to integrate solutions as a prime bidder. Maintain relationships with network of strategic partners.
  • Work together with the Sales team to qualify Sales opportunities in terms of customer technical requirement, building a competitive approach in the delivery, make business calls for the Professional Services Division in order to win Software and Services business
  • Collaborates with Sales Managers / Directors in order to pursue relationships and opportunities in parallel to widen the bandwidth of sales activity, build trust with all customer contacts, and to promote and maintain the integrity of the SAS / client relationship.
  • Provide operational oversight to the Education services business and Technical Support team based in the country.
  • What we’re looking for

  • Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience including proven record in team management and P&L management
  • Consulting and / or project management experience with a proven track record of delivery
  • Knowledge on financial services industry advantageous
  • Analytics, CI, Fraud and Risk experience and knowledge preferred
  • Experience in developing SOWs, proposals, estimations and subcontractor work orders
  • Excellent communication, negotiations, presentation and business writing skills in both Chinese and English
  • Knowledge of SAS technology preferred. Alternatively, knowledge of competing analytics products and solutions desirable.
  • Experienced and passionate to support the Sales team in ensuring sales strategies are supported and executed
  • Excellent problem solving, organizational, decision-making written and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to conceptualize client needs and translate into specific implementation strategies.
  • Have an executive presence be able to have a constructive dialogue with senior management of our client base about improving their business and representing SAS in Project Steering Committees
