Purpose of Role
Events Sales Manager performs key functions such as handling events and customer service, bookings of all types of non-residential events from various sources of leads, soliciting business, sales call and administration.
Through proper handover process, Events Sales Manager also manages entire MICE groups (both rooms and events) after the contract is signed by Sales Managers.

Managers’ MICE groups (assigned by Director of Events once confirmed) and
Marriott loyalty program and a segment of events (i.e. MICE, Weddings,
Social, W Happenings). The champion will have extensive knowledge of the
system, program and the segment and assist the team when in doubt. The
champion will also update the team with latest changes / execution plans
maintain all Events files in accordance with established hotel procedures and
resourcefulness by asserting, protecting and demonstrating the core values of
Sales & Marketing Division and W Taipei.
